GLEITMO RLC 3000 meets the requirements of the German Federal Environmental Agency („UBA“) in terms of organic coatings to be used in drinking water applications.;Field of application;For dry lubrication of various material combinations, including metals, plastics, rubbers, for example. GLEITMO RLC 3000 is especially suitable for coating sealings used in drinking water applications. For this purpose GLEITMO RLC 3000 provides the possibility of a clean and dry lubrication in order to reduce the assembly forces.;Method of application;GLEITMO RLC 3000 can be processed using compressed air and airless spraying systems. For coating O-rings the application of spray drums is recommended. Immersion or centrifugal immersion is appropriate for larger quantities of small parts. Coating using a brush or roller can only be recommended in cases when spraying or immersion are not appropriate. This is due to resulting non-uniform coating thicknesses. Sliding surfaces to be coated have to be degreased and dried before the coating process. When coating plastics or elastomer components a plasma treatment is advisable to improve the adhesion.;Note;Stir before use! Protect from frost!
